War, Destruction and Greed

–AMP

‘War’ a common word in today’s world. Infact even kids know it and I’m not even exaggerating. Why is it that kids who are meant to laugh and have fun know about war. ACTUALLY, in a sense they should, just like we know about this cruel world they should definitely too.

But isn’t war just another way to assert power and express greediness? Why is it that we humans are very stubborn when it comes to what is ours but aren’t ready to take a step forward when it is our dear brothers and sisters who are in danger? This is a very sad plight, I remember as a 7th grader writing a poem about war and pain, at an age kids didn’t usually think gravely about topics like these. Looking back, my poem had words with deep and hidden meanings which my younger self fully didn’t understand while writing yet somehow did. Sometimes, I wonder how different the world would have been without us humans, wouldn’t the flora and fauna be in peace? Maybe God shouldn’t have promised Noah because instead of admiring the beauty of this place we’ve been gifted, we are taking it for granted and slowly but cruelly we’re ruining it, not just for us but every new generation that may cease to exist. How long will mother nature and the world tolerate us?

I hope these words help You as a reader take a look at the world and what we’ve done to it and change the world for the better by taking a small step. It doesn’t have to always be a big one, small actions can make big differences. The change starts from You and only you. Wishing everyone lots of love and wings of warmth. 💖 #longliveUkraine 🇺🇦 🙌
